Students who have been readmitted to the University whose academic standing is either “warning”, “probation”, “subject to dismissal” or “dismissal”, will have a probationary returning semester. Readmitted students with a probationary semester are required to follow UConn’s conditions of probation and retention. Visit Conditions of Probation and Retention page for specific information on these requirements.
Returning students will not have access to fill out their Academic Success Plans until they actually begin their returning semester, and the Scholastic Standing Hold (SSH) will be placed for all students with a probationary semester on Day 11 of each semester. This hold restricts course registration until the student has met their probationary requirements.
